Some thoughts on subjects of consumer protection

Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the analysis of consumer definition in Slovak legislation. The author discusses four basic questions: whether the consumer must fulfil the legal definition not only when concluding a contract, but also when performing it; whether the entrepreneur acting outside the scope of his activity enjoys consumer protection; whether the notion of commercial activity used in the consumer definition falls within the notion of business activity or whether it is an independent term; and whether employees also enjoy consumer protection when they buy services and goods in the area in which they work.
