Summary/Abstract: This article aims to analyze poetries of Yahya Kemal Beyatlı and Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar on the basis of Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar’s book; Yahya Kemal. Views of Tanpınar on Yahya Kemal and other poets of the time, his thoughts on Yahya Kemal’s poems, Yahya Kemal’s highlighted poems and relations of these poems with Tanpınar’s poems, Yahya Kemal’s influence on surrounding poets and especially on Tanpınar are main subjects of discussion.
