Summary/Abstract: A late medieval hoard of sixty-one denarii and a silver looped button came to light at Mohács-Sárhát in Spring 2016. The hoard is made up of nova moneta issues minted between 1521 and 1525. Thus, on the testimony of the latest issue, the burial of the hoard and the fact that it was not recovered can be associated with the withdrawal of the Turkish forces in 1526.
