Spiritual and Ideological Priorities of Contemporary Art and the Specifics of their Manifestations within the Postmodernist Situation

Summary/Abstract: Purpose of Article. To determine the ideological and spiritual basis of artistic manifestations in the context of postmodernism. Methodology. Research methodology consists of application historical, logical, comparative methods of analysis, which allow comprehending the existence of culture within the limits of nonclassical aesthetically beautiful paradigm. Scientific Novelty. The article examines manifestations of a non-classical aesthetic standard in postmodern artistic realities of the present day. Conclusions. The multi-vector of modern cultural context stimulates interpenetration and axiological equalisation of often divergent ideological-spiritual concepts. The desire for freedom of self-expression on the ideological-content and formal-structural levels of artefacts becomes the main creative factor of contemporary art. Postmodern artistic text - semantic labyrinth - grows the boundaries of the artistic phenomenon and turns into a connotative space for understanding the personal sense of being as a person within the limits of the rysomatic post-classical poly-aesthetic ideological and spiritual universe of the present.
