Summary/Abstract: The topic related to behavior of Soviet soldiers in Bessarabia in 1944- 1945 have not been yet an object of an extensive research. In this article, I try to sketch several thematic lines regarding this subject. The article is based on documents from two former Soviet archives located in Chișinău: The Archive of the Social-Political Organizations of the Republic of Moldova (AOSPRM) and the Archive of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, former MVD of MSSR (AMAIRM-MVD).
