Culture of Turkmenistan in the Context of Ethnogenesis and Geocultural Trafficking

Summary/Abstract: Purpose of Article. The goal of the study is to highlight key moments in the ethnogenesis of Turkmen culture from the standpoint of civilization and geocultural development in the region. Methodology. The study was carried out on the basis of systematic and integrated approach. The historical-chronological method and the method of cultural analysis were used, which allowed tracing the formation and development of ethnocultural features of the culture of Turkmenistan in the chronotop of the ancient period measurement and determining the aspects of further ethnocultural development, determined by geolocation factors. The scientific novelty of the results of the study is to understand the combination of geocultural and civilizational approaches to the ethnogenesis of the culture of Turkmenistan, which made it possible to identify holistic, stable cultural constants. Conclusions. Culture consists of the integrity of two concepts: traditions and innovations. In Turkmenistan, it is possible to trace several layers of cultural heritage, which are distributed in conditions of rhythms of culture genesis with periods of fluctuations and slowdowns. The history of the Turkmen people is unique in that Turkmen, and their ancestors created great powers not only in their primordial land in the territory of present Turkmenistan but also in some large and small states in the Middle and the Middle East. Turkmenistan continues to carefully preserve the historical and cultural heritage of its ancestors, which contributed to the treasury of world civilization, on the way of modernization and introduction of advanced technologies. The state considers culture as consolidating and inspiring power, a carrier of moral, aesthetic and social transformations. The state cultural policy of Turkmenistan is on the path of harmonization of traditions and innovations, history and modernity, builds a strategy of conversions, focusing on the global course of sustainable development, puts the dialogue of cultures as one of the priority directions of development.
