Summary/Abstract: Nature in the City: Jean Rolin's Eco-networks. The city is an increasingly controversial place to live in because of the tensions that it bears and which reshape its ontological conditions. The materials that compose it and the forms of interaction that animate it constitute an eco-system in search of new balances. If the urban environment – a carrier of human life – must deal with natural kingdoms (mineral, vegetable and animal) and their deviations as sorting resources, the changes in the environment challenge the notion of bio-mimesis and its writing features. In this framework, Jean Rolin’s urban imaginary is such a place to examine the stakes of the savage in a space that is at odds with it.
