METHODS OF ANALYSIS OF THE PROFESSIONAL LANGUAGE OF DIPLOMACY

Summary/Abstract: Study objectives. Our focus is on terminology (the functional subsystem of the general literary language), which has its own peculiarities both in terms of expression and content. This feature explains the widespread use not only linguistic, but also logical, mathematical and other methods for research terminology. In addition, there are own, purely terminological research methods. The structure of linguistic methods for isolating the proper terminological units of diplomacy, follows from a review of the main areas of terminology research that have been applied, is one of the most promising issues in the study of diplomatic terminology. The method of analysis of the German professional language of diplomacy and its terminological system is determined by the subject of the study and the task, the solution of which is necessary to achieve the study objectives.
