Summary/Abstract: Bulgaria entered the First World War in the autumn of 1915. The political orientation of the country is not in line with the strategic future of the results of the world military conflict. This places Bulgaria after the war among the defeated countries. The consequences of this political choice are ruinous for the country. They slow down its economic and cultural development in the following decades.
