Summary/Abstract: In the article the ideas of humanizing and democratization of legal education are examined in higher educational establishments of Ukraine. An author compares the soviet system of education to European one, analyses positive moments and failings in the modern system education. A purpose of this work is systematization of idea of humanizing of legal education in higher educational establishments of Ukraine with suggestions of practical application in pedagogical activity.
