Summary/Abstract: In the process of education history of the Islamic (In the history of Islamic education), education-teaching masjid / mosque especially was continued until the establishment of madrassas in different venues. Mentioned in the historical process, establishment of madrassas, education-teaching gained an institutional space. In the sense of ideational, together with this organizational development and change processes also the aim of educational movements occurred differences. Therefore, these two elements; firstly, mosque that the educational activities undertaken conversion of the madrassa: this change which pass through the stages, and the secondly, after the Prophet (pbuh) according to Islamic scholars with understand Islam What is the change in their educational goals, the problem of this study is this question. In this study are intended to be handled and analyzed under two headings that have Islamic educational institutions from the mosque to madrassa transformation and development that including institutional and intellectual terms.
