Role of reflection in modern education

Summary/Abstract: In the modern researches, devoted to education and, in particular, pedagogics often there is a term «reflection». Author analysed his value and came to conclusion, that a term passed the protracted way of development. Edging gave one of the first his determination, but in future his value was transformed so that without the acquaintance with him it is impossible to realize his extended value. The modern understanding contacts with thought, but not on constructing of concepts. A reflection is directed on optimum carefully thought out the actions organized on the basis of theoretical knowledge. Theoretical knowledge serves as pre-condition of our conduct and actions. Today a reflection is ability to «work» with the abstractions, generalized by principles which are represented in theoretical knowledge.
