Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the problem of the normative obligation to deliver the general terms of insurance. The authors discuss this issue in the context of the evolution of its provisions. They also draw attention to the different consequences of classifying entities into categories respectively: B2B and B2C. They also focus on discrepancies within the meaning of the premises releasing the insurer from the abovementioned obligation in the light of Article 384 §2 sentence 1 of the Polish Civil Code. For this reason, they formulate interpretative postulates which, in their opinion, serve the practice of trading.
