Summary/Abstract: In the coming years, the insurance market is waiting for a number of changes. The Insurance Distribution Act, which comes into force, changes the current, restrictive division into insurers and intermediaries and makes it easier for new entrants to enter the field of insurance distribution. The new regulations also change the position of insured persons by extending their consumer rights. Following the statutory changes, a number of other, practical and theoretical questions are born, such as, what is the insurance product in the light of the new regulations?
