Summary/Abstract: In this work we analyze the symbolic representation of the dynamics of power in the complete poetry of Rosario Castellanos, one of the most important contemporary Mexican writers. It is studied how Rosario Castellanos links the effects of power networks with a dimension of metaphysical evil and deals with the liberating ritual process that the writer constructs in her life and in her work in order to approach self-affirmation.
