Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to identify the reasons why the students of Information management department choose to study, the evaluate their point of view about the future of the profession and their awareness. The data which was collected from the survey and interview on the associate program in Ordu university akkus vocational high school has been used in the study. According to the results of the study, students of Information Management department are generally satisfied with the university and faculty they study, and some suggestions have been made in accordance with the results.
