Summary/Abstract: In this scientific report presents the collection of iron spears of the Thracian and Roman age, which are stored in the fund of the Historical Museum- Dalgopol. From the spears of the early iron age stand the two spears from the “Kaleto” mound to the village of Petrov dol- Provadia, which have two symmetrically located openings at the base of the blade and the tip with a flat longitudinal edge from the village of Nenovo- Provadiya. They are most likely from the end of the early iron age from the VI- th century B.C. The other Thracian spears with a flat leaf blade are from late iron age dating back to V-III- th. century, from the IV- th. century B.C. are the two toes with narrow, four- sided blades passing through a wide bush and the four tips of small swatches. From the time of the Roman age II-IV century, the collective find of three tips with a leaf blade, discovered together with a long sword with a round nozzle during excavations on a mound in the area of the village of Tutrakantci- Provadia, and the two heavily elongated peaks found along with a spear thrower in the area of the Roman road station “Panisos” to the railway station Burzitca. Of interest are also the mouthpieces of spears, saurothers, which for the time being are still poorly studied in Bulgarian archaeology.
