Summary/Abstract: The macro- and microstructures of Russian-Tatar and Tatar-Russian dictionaries published in the second half of the 20th century have been considered. The detailed analysis of the dictionaries published in the Soviet period and Post-Soviet periods has been performed. The concepts of macro- and microstructures have been thoroughly studied. Their components have been described: using both lexical material and macro- and microstructural organization of bilingual Tatar dictionaries. Special attention has been paid to the development and modification of the macro- and microstructure concepts of bilingual Russian-Tatar and Tatar-Russian dictionaries for learners published in the second half of the 20th century. The social changes provoked the change in the attitude and needs of users to the dictionaries under study. Thus, the change in requirements and needs of dictionary users favored the development at the macro- and microstructural level of lexicographic works of that time. The following conclusion has been made: the dictionaries of the Post-Soviet lexicographic sphere were structured according to the practical necessities of language learners of that epoch – they placed a lower emphasis on the encyclopedic presentation of lexical information.
