COMMUNICATION AS A SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGICAL PHENOMENON

Summary/Abstract: This study is grounded in the considerable body of scholarship examining the symbolically generalized codes of communication, the cognitive core of the scientific development, the knowledge-based development of the social system, and the epistemological status of the knowledge content. My paper contributes to the literature by providing evidence on the nexus between the use of external information processing devices, the ability to process information, advances in the scientific understanding of memory, and the construction of shared knowledge and solutions.
