Summary/Abstract: At the beginning of March 2019, social networks published a few video clips showing religious festive event – khatam al Qur’an du’a at the Čaršijska džamija mosque in Srebrenica. The video was recorded on 23.4.1995 in the mosque Čaršijska džamija in Srebrenica. The khatam al Qur’an du’a held on the eve of genocide offers, perhaps, the best picture of religious life in Srebrenica. It shows how Bosniaks in the most difficult of the circumstances in this UN’s safe haven are determined to preserve their faith and tradition.
