Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this study was to empirically examine digital means of tracking, monitoring, and surveilling worker activities. Building my argument by drawing on data collected from Bright & Company, Corporate Research Forum, Deloitte, HR Tech World, IBM, Management Events, McKinsey, Montage, PwC, and Top Employers Institute, I performed analyses and made estimates regarding how organizational structure changes as a result of adopting automation and artificial intelligence technologies (%). The structural equation modeling technique was used to test the research model.
