Summary/Abstract: Starting from the voting for the Bundestag on September 24, 2017, during which the subject of right-wing populism was constantly being discussed up front, even in the mass media, due to the forever growing number of votes that the AfD are currently witnessing at this point in all the Länderparlamente, an accurate analysis cannot but come to the conclusion that deals with a radical populism, and, therefore, a danger to democracy. The article highlights a confrontation between left-wing and right-wing populism to show in the words of Carolin Emcke, peace prize winner of the German Book Trade, how such a populism leads to a decline in a society without ethics, and deprives society and humanity of the principal possibility and right to express themselves, that is, the language as cultural expression.
