Summary/Abstract: This article focuses on the ways of interpretation of guerilla visual-verbal artworks set in the public space and it highlights the necessity to approach these artworks as intermedial objects. The first part of the study introduces a three-part model, on which the interpretation of this type of artworks should be based: it involves the type of recipients, inner structure of the artwork (which in this case consists of a visual and verbal layer) and the context (location) that the artwork is set in. These three aspects of guerilla visual-verbal artworks are further analyzed and based on this analysis an interdisciplinary approach dealing with the artworks in their complexity is proposed.
