Summary/Abstract: There are no universal and absolutely effective methods of resocialization, both in relation to adult perpetrators of crimes, staying in prisons, as well as young people who cause educational problems. Social rehabilitation should strongly emphasize the need for creative activities related to the developmental potential of the individual. Methodology of resocialization is a set of principles and rules of the educational-corrective process, associated with adult perpetrators of crimes, as well as children and young people who are socially maladjusted or endangered by such maladjustment, in the context of personality and environmental conditions. Methodology of resocialization work is strongly associated with many fields of science, such as: psychology, sociology, medicine and law. An integral part of the methodological approach to resocialization is the observance of the fundamental principles of resocialization education.
