Summary/Abstract: According to the 1983 Code of Canon Law the child is a minor before the completion of the seventh year, who is considered not to be responsible for itself. The rights of the child stem both from natural legal personality and church legal personality. The 1983 Code legislator regulates rights of the child such as: the right to life, right to the sacraments and right to upbringing.
