Linguistic references to spaces in Paco Roca’s Los surcos del azar: a rewriting of history?

Summary/Abstract: The Paco Roca’s graphic novel Los surcos del azar depicts Spanish Republican Miguel Ruiz's itinerary in his fight against fascism during the Second World War. Numerous spaces are thus covered or evoked during the mentioned historical events. Representation and perception of space and history are inseparable, and it seems that the writing of space could, on its own, rewrite history, as we will try to demonstrate by adopting an exclusively linguistic approach.
