Summary/Abstract: The article maces an attempt at revealing the place and role of press in solving the Macedonian question and its struggle for defending the national interests of the Bulgarian Principality in the 1887-94 period. Among the most topical problems discussed in the then Bulgarian newspapers and journals was the fate of the Bulgarians who were left outside the borders of the liberated Bulgaria.
