Summary/Abstract: The literary creation of the poet Gregory Vieru comprises a variety of motifs and themes that are approached with considerable mastery, in a simple but penetrating manner, meant to inform, discover, share the mysteries of the earth and universe. Vieru evokes, through his poems, the joys and sufferings of his people, cultivating feelings of love, comfort, compassion, relief, courage and devotion, truth and beauty, honour and generosity. In his lyrics, we discover the spontaneity and naturalness of things, the elements of nature materialize in images through play, a poetic decoration that forms an unusual and unprecedented universe, and the life philosophy is of childhood colour, rendered through personifications, metaphors, hyperboles, invoking hidden nostalgia of the creative spirit, cooling and sensitising the soul.
