Summary/Abstract: Under the conditions of the new configuration given to the institution of successor indignity by thecurrent Civil Code, as well as considering the fact that successor indignity as a matter of interest forlegal inheritance and for the testamentary one, we have initiated the present study which is meant toreform this institution of law. In our analysis, we must present the two forms of indignity – indignity byright and judicial indignity, as well as the legal provisions regarding the effects of indignity and also theremoval of these effects.
