Summary/Abstract: Lawyer linguists’ field of expertise is interdisciplinary per se, given that it includes both law and translation. This paper is looking beyond this expected interdisciplinarity in order to show which other fields can be part of a lawyer linguist’s work; thus, terminology, logic, legal argumentation, traductology, comparative law, computer science, critical discourse analysis, linguistics and sociolinguistics are analyzed in this respect.
