Summary/Abstract: Considering the effects caused by the breaking of a family on minor children, we wish to examine the tools of law which protectively regulate the relations between parents and their minor children. In order to do this, we will describe the legal guidelines created by the lawmaker in order to set up the parents’ rights and duties as a result of divorce, but we are more interested in describing the way in which these regulations are interpreted in legal practice and judicial doctrine.
