Summary/Abstract: The article discusses the problem of educational responsibility. The role of parents in this area was referred to the role of the assistant of the “l’Arche” community, looking for some analogies in the functioning of both communities. Jean Vanier – the founder of the “l’Arche”, describes the role of the assistant in the community and determines the essence of his responsibility. He points to the fact that responsibility involves accepting the role of authority and recognizing one’s own deficiencies. He emphasizes the importance of interpersonal relations and points to the tasks that lie with the “responsible” in “l’Arche”. It shows how to take responsibility and how to share it. The article refers to the above indications to parental responsibility.
