Summary/Abstract: Every psychotherapy method cannot survive without connecting itself to the development of society. The aim of this lecture is to present an hermeneutically grounded proposal to make GT practice more useful for actual clinical evidences. Development of social trends will be presented in connection with crucial aspects of psychotherapy models. This description will lead to the evidence that today GT has to change its focus from the figure to the ground. Specific examples will be given of new tools,in line with the aesthetic, phenomenological and field oriented presence of the therapist, like the polyphonic development of domains, the dance steps and the aesthetic relational knowledge. This tools meet the need of social feelings today. Clinical examples and experiences will be proposed.
