Summary/Abstract: The article consists of three parts, which analysis the sparsely populated areas of Labanoras‘s municipality, it’s settlement changes, gives future prognosis. The first part analyzis the municipality‘s and population‘s figures changes, showing the reasons and occured problems in analized district. The second part represents Labanoras municipality web developments’ aspects, reasons of teritory changes. The third part predicts municipality’s future perspectives in terms of population and its teritory.
