Summary/Abstract: Education in universities is reach on stressful situations especially for first-year university students who are confronted with a new learning environment. The article discusses the causes and consequences of academic stressors and presents results of an empirical study conducted among 117 first-year students studying in pedagogical field with a profile of music, dance and fine arts.
