Summary/Abstract: We present some data in the history of the popular technique regarding the installations used over time to press agricultural products. The examples of installations used in the Romanian popular technique are of a wide variety, all with original technical solutions and ingenuity. Images of museum installations and their kinematic schemes are given, highlighting the technical creative elements of the simple peasants. There are also some results of detailed studies, highlighting the effectiveness of technical solutions adopted by anonymous builders.
