Summary/Abstract: We draw on a substantial body of theoretical and empirical research on wearable Internet of Medical Things sensor devices for health monitoring, and to explore this, we inspected, used, and replicated survey data from Accenture, AT&T, IDC, MarketsandMarkets, Massachusetts Medical Society, NEJM Catalyst, PAC, and YouGov/Trustmarque, performing analyses and making estimates regarding Internet of Medical Things market segmentation by component and application ($ billion), top benefits of using technology for patient engagement (%, multiple responses), and consumer attitudes towards connected and wearable healthcare devices (%). Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data and test the proposed conceptual model.
