Summary/Abstract: Paper discusses the position of LGBTTIQ population in Serbia today, as can be inferred from the collected empirical data. The empirical research was performed in two phases: on a larger sample using the e-questionnaire and on a reduced stratified sample using a method of in-depth interviews. Presented analysis trying to reconstruct a number of important topics related to the phenomenon of violence against LGBTTIQ persons and charting, on the one hand, the basic coordinates of social status of the LGBTTIQ population in Serbia, and on the other hand, intimate coordinates of initiation turning points within individual biographies of our interviewees.
