Summary/Abstract: The author deals with the conditions in society fostering drug addiction sub-culture, its inter-relations with other social institutions (primarily the family and school), the socio-psychological mechanism constituting the basis of its group dynamism, and socio-psychological significance of the drug addict groups in the functioning of the adolescent ego.
