Summary/Abstract: In this study; The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of different earthquake recordings on 3-storey and 5-storey reinforced concrete buildings and the strength overload coefficients due to earthquake load reduction coefficients. Firstly, the results of the analysis of the 3-storey building designed in Sta4Cad program were examined. This section of the building is designed in the SesimoStruct program. In this program, different earthquake recordings were activated by cross section and yield values were observed. The same process was repeated in a 5-storey building. An earthquake load reduction coefficient was found for each earthquake record found as a result of earthquake calculations. Then the strength coefficients which are related to these earthquake load reduction coefficients are examined. These earthquake load reduction coefficients were compared with the values given in the regulation.
