Summary/Abstract: Various studies have been carried out on Ankara, until today. These studies were dealt with from the political, economic and cultural aspects. One of these dimensions are the studies concerning the history of Ankara. These studies, which were related to the past, cover different periods and subject fields. While the history of Ankara until today was studied on documents, such as the Court Records, there had not been any studies from the Typeface Journals. Our thesis will monitor the history of Ankara, based on the Typeface Journals. In this context, the Typeface Journals contain the records of Ankara between the years 1647-1809. The neighbourhoods, mosques, small Islamic monasteries, theological schools, foundations and the officials at these places have been determined according to these journals.
