Summary/Abstract: Human dignity is endangered nowadays perhaps more than it has ever been since time immemorial. Man’s liberal spirit is highest expression of his dignity. By virtue of his freedom man has a choice either to go after good and thus restore his dignity, or to choose evil and thus violate that same dignity. The problem is when something what is obvious attack on life and human dignity is being propagated as legitimate right on dignity. Here we bear in mind the “contemporary” theme of euthanasia as right of dignified death. Perhaps it’s by adopting the decision of application of euthanasia that the person’s freedom (ie. person’s dignity) will be most endangered. The purpose of this paper is taking a view on the act of euthanasia in light of the Christian tradition.
