Summary/Abstract: In the course of harmony, the theory of modulation is one of the most important components contributing to a holistic understanding of harmonic regularities. In its turn, the problem of the relationship of tonalities in the theory of modulation is the sphere that is constantly being updated and developed. Since the creation of the first system of the relationship of tonalities by N. Rimsky-Korsakov, there have appeared more than ten other systems belonging to different authors, which are considered in this article.
