Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with the causes of economic crisis in Yugoslavia and some measures oriented towards its resolvement. The author is of the opinion that the roots of the crisis can be traced back to the mid sixties, when the economic development began to slacken. The strategy of development, the economic system and the economic policies are responsible in bringing this tendency about.
