Summary/Abstract: The present paper attempts to show how patriarchal stratifications, as well as the rigid identification with either masculine or feminine sex roles, due to the fact that they represent the causes ofreduction of male and female human personalities, appear to be the aboundant sources of various neuroses. Such state of facts certainly could be the scientific basis for a serious criticism of the existing sex roles, which otherwise represent the repressive factors for the sane development of personality of both male and female.
