Summary/Abstract: Five basic cultural models: dogmatic-Enlightment cultural model, pervaded with once communist and now nationalistic ideology, cultural model of elitistic national culture, populist model, newlycomposed model of mass culture, standard civic cultural model and rock culture as youth mass culture (the last to the smallest degree) have all appropriated war time patterns, subdued their values, styles, means of expression to the war requirements. Nobody was spared the negative, disastrous impacts of the social crisis, war and war profiteership (economic or social alike).
