Summary/Abstract: In this article, the author provides a synthetic view, an analysis, and an estimate of the valuable, diverse, and voluminous theoretical work by one of our most influential sociologists and legal thinkers, Radomir D. Lukić. Trying to refer the readers to general course of Lukić’s tendencies and ideas, the author also reminds of his main and less known works. Lukić’s theoretical heritage is shown as a result of his enormous sharpness and personal gift to observe the given subject and establish it notionally and synthetically, but also as a result of the historical circumstances and important processes that granted inspiration to him, placing every analytical unit within the clearly recognized social and historical context.
