Summary/Abstract: In this article the author tries to study the possibility of introducing a rigorous concept of truth in logical and mathematical theories, as well as its implications regarding the interpretation of mathematical reality. The first section is concerned with the construction of semantical truth for formal languages, in Tarski's manner. The next two present some results, closely related to this problem: the indefinability of truth and its irreducibility, as a semantical concept, to a purely syntactical one such as proof. In the last section he made a number of considerations about the relation between this concept of truth and reality, also trying to argue that this is a weak type of truth, neutral with respect to the dispute between realism and antirealism.
