Summary/Abstract: The topic of the article are foundations of Christian ethic, regardless of confessional, regional or national traits. As a prevailing features are elicited moral absolutism, ethical pessimism, postponed optimism, social conservativism and egalitarianism of the chosen. Article concludes with the thesis that Christian ethic is not changed in its fundamentals in spite of historical changes and regional-cultural determinants.
