Summary/Abstract: The demand for health services is increasing day by day and the number of institutions providing health services increases. This newly formed or a health institution which aims to further growth are required to ensure an effective performance management in order to come to the desired level. Through performance evaluation, health institutions can determine the results of the activities carried out in line with the goals and objectives determined, compare them with the plans made, evaluate the results and make decisions for the future. In this respect, performance evaluation is of great importance. Health Institutions in their designated objectives during and goals in order to identify the Consequences of actions, measuring, Comparing with the plans, evaluation of results, decision-making for the future aspect because it is a source of performance evaluation is of great Importance. In order for the performance management to be effectively implemented in the organization, employees must be at the level that employees can perceive and everyone should be involved. The health institution should choose the performance evaluation method according to the quality of the service provided. This study was prepared in a review to contribute to the literature about performance evaluation methods.
